Gift Wrapped Presents

 
Good Friday morning!  Gift wrapping is one of my favorite things to do!  I know, it sounds crazy but I get to be creative and it doesn’t cost too much. I always check out the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby whenever I go so I have a large stock pile of ribbons.   For the past 2 years I have been wrapping everything in the color scheme below so whenever I saw something on sale that might work, I would purchase it.

This is a long package so I thought it might look great if I enhanced the length by placing my flowers in a vertical position.  I use so much toile ribbon and it is very inexpensive.  I wanted the flowers to be the highlight, so I used white toile as a quiet backdrop.

Don’t forget to add some pretty tissue paper inside your package.  With any luck I will get Kayla to put this little, leather black dress on and I’ll take a picture for all of you!

This was a huge surprise. I didn’t have any idea that the green ribbon was going to act like that on top of the package. It made me very happy!  Usually if you use a wide ribbon, your package will look special without trying too hard!

I used my hot glue gun to attach these pompoms to the ribbon.  I started to go really crazy with the pompoms and then I scaled it back.

This is the size of a DVD so I thought I would try using curling ribbon and just attaching a few pompoms.  Simple but effective.

This bow looked so amazing and all I did was tie it like a normal bow. It was all in the ribbon!!!

Somebody is going to be very excited when they get home from work!

Don’t be afraid to be creative when wrapping presents.  It can be a great place to let yourself go wild!
