Travel Organizer
Good morning! For today’s Organization post, we thought we’d share a great idea we just learned about from a friend. They’re going on a Disney cruise with their 2 kids for spring break and shared a great tip for travelling where you don’t often have a lot of bathroom counter space.
Bring an over-the-door shoe organizer! They’re very lightweight and easy to pack. You can put all your toiletries (sunglasses, lotion, sunscreen, swimsuits, hairbrushes/combs, hair ties, vitamins, allergy medications, body spray / perfume, hair gel etc.) in there and everybody has easy access.

I also found some other great uses for those shoe holders whilst Googling…..
Loved the Barbies here but any little toys would work great.

The ubiquitous craft closet can be a catch-all for kids’ activities.

In the kitchen pantry, extra utensils and regularly used items are easy to grab.

A hall closet make-over we did putting hats, gloves and scarves in the shoe holder (color-coordinated of course!).

For a sewing room, all the extra yarn and pieces of fabric are tucked neatly away.

I hope you are a little inspired to get more creatively organized. Target has them ranging from $10-$20. Love that they’re so cheap we can put them in lots of rooms.

I love mine, but haven't ever thought of using one other than my hall closet…thanks for the inspiration! My boys would think I'd lost it if I asked them to keep it color coordinated order!
We use them at swim meets to keep caps and goggles from running off before races! Such a useful little accessory.
